IS HIGHBALL A KID-FRIENDLY EVENT?
HighBall Halloween is an all ages event! At HighBall Halloween we focus on the fantasy and costuming elements of the Halloween season, so the stage performances are not designed to frighten. However, it is a public event and there are many costumes on the streets. It should also be noted that there will be alcohol present at the event. Since our first event 15 years ago, there have always been HighBallers both big and small and we have yet to receive any complaints about appropriateness for children.
New this year, we will host kid-friendly programming from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., featuring:
- – Hosts NBC4’s Matthew Herchik and Andrea Henderson
- – Performances by New Basics Brass Band and NACHO Street Band
- – Free Jeni’s Ice Cream and Bark Box toys for attendees (while supplies last)
- – Public Costume Contest for kids, where all participants will receive free Jeni’s Ice Cream, and winners will receive a Jeni’s Ice Cream Grand Prize
- – Public Costume Contest for pets, where all participants will receive gift cards to Bark Box and one winner will receive a free 6-month Bark Box subscription
- – And more!
