HighBall Halloween is the nation’s most elaborate costume party. Staged in the fashion capital of Columbus, this yearly event for the Halloween season bridges runway style with the culture of the Short North Arts District. Be a part of the HighBall Halloween street spectacle and model yourself on High Street. At HighBall Halloween, you are what you wear.
The History of Highball Halloween
Founded in 2008
HighBall Halloween began as a one-night event centered around our signature Battelle Costume Couture Fashion Show, where teams of local designers compete for the top spot and a cash prize. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of HighBall Halloween. 10 years of outlandish costumes, uncommon couture, and nationally recognized frivolity represents a major milestone for Columbus
ONE WILD WEEKEND
Now a two-night event staged in the fashion-forward Short North Arts District on East Goodale and High Street from Goodale to Nationwide, HighBall Halloween also includes a street party, live art, electrifying stage performances and a public costume contest.
THE FUN CONTINUES
On Friday, HB: On The Rocks is our annual tribute concert honoring fabulous fashion. On Saturday, HB: High Fashion highlights fashion during the Public Costume Contest and the Battelle Costume Couture Fashion Show, where teams of designers will dazzle audiences with over-the-top costume collections.
Hosted by the Short North Alliance (SNA), HighBall Halloween helps raise money to support clean and safe initiatives, promotions, holiday campaigns, public art installations, parking management and more in the Short North Arts District. In other words, HighBall Halloween makes the Short North Arts District even more incredible for all who live and visit here.
